Ex-Big Brother Naija housemate Gifty has finally confessed that she was once in marriage although she denied these reports at first labeling them as being fake. Upon denying her marriage with Nollywood movie director, David Akumah, the alleged husband's cousin released photos which proved that Gifty was telling lies. Gifty went ahead to clap back at the released photos saying that they were just fake rumours.

Today during an exclusive interview with Hip TV, the former housemate broke down into tears as she confessed that it true.

she was just a naive girl who didn't know what she want. Gifty further revealed that the marriage was held when she was just 19, and it was just a traditional marriage. She also disclosed that she passed through a lot in the marriage, and also kept it as a secret because people kept judging her, without caring to know what she passed through in the marriage. She also said that the bride price was returned to her husband, who allegedly subjected her to abuses.
